The updated Suzuki Swift is made a splash at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany last month. Coming soon to Liberty Mazda Suzuki in Libertyville, IL, Swift is rumored to be the most exciting vehicle in the Japanese auto maker's line up for 2012.

Exterior shots expose that the vehicle will mimic its faster sibling Swift Sport in design. Additions will include finned fog lamp bezels, high-intensity discharge headlamps, 17-inch lightweight wheels and a bigger grille. Its wheelbase keeps an agile 2,430mm long, with an overall length of 3,890mm.

Inside, newly created sports seats wrapped in an exclusive fabric to the model, along with a five-dial instrument cluster.

"But what really matters is the performance" as Totally Motor states. "The engine pumps out 134bhp (compared to 123 horses on the last model) and 118lb-ft of torque (compared to 109lb-ft on the previous one). This boosted power is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, an extra gear up from the five-speed box on the last model."¹
