The 1.3 liter engine makes it and ideal vehicle for those looking at sporty vehicles that are generous to your wallets at the gas pump.

The Fleet World magazine in Australia organized this year's MPG Marathon event, which compared 37 different vehicles, by routing them on a 372 mile route, which had been designed to mimic everyday driving conditions. These included including major roads, highways and even parking lots. The Suzuki Swift broke the previously recorded combine (67.3 MPG.) figure by a whopping 28.3%!
